I am a first time home buyer and entered this new venture with much trepidation due to the volatile real estate situation we are experiencing in BC recently. Unfortunately I did not have very positive experiences with various agents; I suspect due to the fact that I did not have very much of a budget narrowing down the possibilities. It was very challenging to find someone who would assist in taking the time to help me find something in my price range.  In fact I seldom received any replies to my inquiries on line. However that all changed one day when I received a reply from Melody Leskun! Very expediently I might add. Not only did she reply to my request for information within minutes, she also invited me to meet her for coffee so that she could assess my needs and see if she was someone "I thought I would like to work with". From the first meeting I knew she was going to be the right fit for me! She was professional, friendly and made me feel significant with the listing agents. She advised me appropriately and put my best interests before anyone elses. I trusted her instantly not only as a professional in the real estate industry but as a friend as well. She provided quality advice and steered me back into the right direction when I was feeling desperate to settle. She assured me that we would indeed find the right place for me and to be patient. She rearranged her schedule to accommodate my work hours ensuring I would not miss out on any prospective places. As a result I did end up finding my dream place and happy to report I will be moving into my own dream place next month! If I had to describe Melody in a few words I would say she is accurate, organised, efficient, trustworthy and selfless. Not to mention I would never hesitate to recommend Melody to anyone!
